“At my heaviest I got to around 110kg at 158cm tall and wearing size 22-24. I was suffering from high blood pressure, high cholesterol, lower back issues, sciatica, painful knees, shins, feet, and pretty well everything hurt. I’m a nurse and my feet would be killing me by halfway through a shift.
I had been considering gastric sleeve surgery for a while when a co worker told me about Dr Adib. His office staff were fantastic and very helpful. The appointment was bulk billed. I got my surgery date and all systems go!
Fast forward to 12 months later, now 66kg wearing size 12-14, virtually all pain is gone, blood pressure normal, no complications, pretty well had a dream run, steady weight loss with a few stalls, got to my personal goal at 1 year almost to the day. Life is just so much better every minute of every day. It’s not an easy ride, but it’s definitely worth it!
